Dr. Richard Voellmy, Managing Director
Richard Voellmy was formerly Scientific Director and Director of IP at Debiopharm SA. Prior to that, Dr. Voellmy co-founded StressGen Biotechnologies and supported this company as Vice President for IP and Planning as well as a member of the company’s SAB. Between 1982 and 2004, he served as a U.S. National Institutes of Health Principal Investigator at the University of Miami, Miami, Florida, where he was a Professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He is a known expert in the field of the cellular stress response.
Dr. Voellmy received his PhD in Microbiology at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, ETH-Zürich, Switzerland and his JD from the University of Miami. Dr. Voellmy is member of the Florida Bar as well as the U.S. Patent Bar.
